Annie Gilpin Mountain (Mrs. Jacob J.S. Mountain) was born in King's County, Nova Scotia in 1823 to Rev. Edwin Gilpin & Eliza Wiswall. She lived in both Quebec and England where her husband was an Anglican Minister. She died in England in 1882.
