About This Item
Three nicely done volumes of classic nature writing by John Burroughs. Bindings are intact. Teal cloth boards are lightly soiled and show some edge wear. Gilet top edges. Front hinges gently cracked in volumes 1 and 15. Pencil notations on FFEPs and a few pages in each volume. Texts are lightly tanned. A few pages have been discolored by newspaper left between pages. Each volume includes 5 or 6 beautiful tissue guarded illustrations. Volume 1 contains a frontispiece portrait of Burroughs as a young man and Volume 15 of Burroughs in old age. No dust jackets.
