London: The Adventurers Club, 1960. Adventurers Club edition, no publication date given but was originally published by Hollis & Carter in 1959 so this would be a slightly later edition, say 1960? Slight creasing to edges of dustwrapper, some foxing to white panels of same, slight bumping to spine ends of green boards, otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. The author, an explorer, naturalist and archaeologist, spent many years in Guatemala. 208pp, numerous b&w drawings.. Hard Cover. Good/Good. Illus. by Berger, Fritz . 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
