Tan boards with cloth spine, engraved border, and black and red lettering. 117 [2] pp. Engravings throughout including 62 full plates. Italian. A practical treatise regarding woodcutting, with reprints of ancient Hoepli manuals. Some preservation work has been done to stabilize this book (case reattached with new facsimile endsheets, board edges reinforced). Further conservation/restoration work may be undertaken if desired.
