1824. Copper-line engraving with original hand-colouring. 215mm by 125mm (sheet). Yango Mungo Y'eyango was a Wiradjuri man. Lewin was an English-born artist active in Australia from 1800. The first professional artist of the colony of New South Wales, he illustrated the earliest volumes of Australian natural history.
CONDITION : A couple of tiny marks.
