Tokyo.: 国晃館. [Kokkōkan].. Meiji 44 [1911]. Black and white photographic illustrations with tissue guards, black and white line illustration, 4 + 4 + 1 + 95pp, 22 x 15cm, attractive decorative wrappers with ribbon ties. Some foxing first leaves, very good copy. The author of this book on the basic principles and history of the Yasukuni Shrine, Kamo Momoki (1867-1941), was the head priest of Shrine between 1909 and 1938. The text covers a wide range of topics on the shrine, including origin of commemorative ceremonies, shrine gods, ceremonial calendar, shrine buildings, and involvement of the Royal family. .
