From the personal library of Clare Ryan Talbot , noted collector, appraiser, dealer, writer, and historian of bookplates. Ms. Talbot has made the following notes in pencil "Keep with Saunders material. Irene Pace's article on RTS with excellent picture of her. It is due to Ruth that I began serious bookplate writing and publishing. C.R.T. Sept, '69." A nice association copy. Articles on W.H.W. Bicknell, Ruth Thompson Saunders with checklists on Bicknell, Saunders and Arthur N. MacDonald.
