The first edition thus of this work, being the first edition published by Michael Joseph. This novel was originally published in 1963 by Abelard-Schuman, however the book was never reprinted then. This 1996 edition is the first time it was reissued and reprinted. Signed by the author to the title page. In the original unclipped dustwrapper. 'Year of the Tiger' is an exciting thrilling novel with the protagonist Paul Chavasse, the Chief of the Bureau, a little known section of the British Intelligence. It is set in the untamed mountains of Tibet, in its monasteries and villages. Written by Henry Patterson under the pseudonym Jack Higgins. Patterson also wrote under the pseudonym James Graham.
