With 18 black and white plates by various artists, including the Scottish painter D.Y. Cameron, each with a tissue-guard. Publisher's yellow cloth with titles and decoration in black. All edges untrimmed. Internally clean with some toning to endpapers. A few leaves poorly opened. A large contemporary library label to rear board. Spine browned, with moderate general wear and a 1cm split to head. Very good. The last of 13 volumes in this era-defining series, combining short stories, poetry, essays, reviews, and contemporary art. This issue features 'The Blessed' by Yeats.

The top to inches of the spine edge are torn (and have been re-glued at sometime). There is a messy inscription on the front free endpaper. Previous owner's stamp on the inner front and back covers. Page 10 is almost loose. A good copy of this Yellow Book - the description makes it sound worse than it is. Illustrated with b/w tissue-guarded drawings and stories by Francis Prevost, Max Beerbohm, Evelyn Holden and others. . Presumed First Edition. Yellow Cloth Hardcover. Good-/No Dust Jacket. 6.5 x 8. Quarterly, Literature.
