About This Item

UK: Ash Tree Publications, 2011. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. This book celebrates the life and achievements of John Foster Yeoman and his family. The Yeoman Story is, first and foremost, a history of that company - Foster Yeoman Ltd - the business in which John spent his working life and built up into an acknowledge leader in the industry. Its development is traced from its early days at Dulcote Quarry near Wells in the 1920s, through to creation of a superquarry at Glensanda in Scotland in the 1980s. We believe this book is now out of print. There are two tiny white spots on the corners of the head and base of the spine, and a tiny bump to the edge of the rear panel. A near fine and tight , clean copy..
