Boston: Lee & Shepard, 1869. Later printing. Hardcover. Near Fine. 8vo. hardcover in red cloth ornately decorated and lettered in black and gilt. Engraved frontis and engraved title page, one additional plate. 341 pp. plus publisher's catalog at rear. Carries only the 1869 date but list of Young America Abroad titles on verso of the dedication page lists book though Second Series "Isles Of The Sea" (1877). A tight, near fine copy, bit of soiling to the spine, Christmas 1885 gift inscription from a father to his son.
