The covers are creased and soiled with chipping at the corners and tears along the spine. 64 pages, numbered from [769] to 832, preceded by 16 pages of ads and a 7 page index covering the issues contained within the run of the periodical's 9th volume. The corners of the first few pages are creased and lightly chipped. Good. <p>Among the contents is a 7-page essay complete in two parts entitled "From Cambodia to China". Also includes a 4 page review of Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem "Gareth and Lynette" entitled "The Last of the Arthurian Legends".

Title page declares this to be an illustrated edition, however, there are no illustrations. The Chambers brothers were nineteenth century Scottish publishers, among other things. Decorated front cover and spine, green endpapers. Cover rubbed, soiled, edgewear, bumped corners, some amateurish repair work done on front endpapers as it opens too tightly; text has small amount of soiling, binding sturdy. .
