About This Item
New York: Minton, Balch & Company. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1930. First Edition. Hardcover. Bright yellow cloth with black lettering. Original dust jacket not price clipped, remains attractive although now edge worn and toned, (with removable clear archival cover.) Slight slant; edge soil. Gift inscription on ffep dated 1931. Original review from The Spector: "Miss Rosman's latest novel has all the qualities of a magazine story. A nice young man and a nice young girl meet over a dog-fight in Kensington Gardens. He is a sculptor and she has a pretty figure, and, luckily for both of them, the dog is just wounded enough to make it necessary for all three of them to visit the vet..." ; 8vo .
