Before the author died in late 1964, she was recognises 1 of the most intellectual and perceptive authorities on the application of numbers to everyday life. A long-time Mystic she was characterised by an inquiring mind and an unfeasible curiosity about life in science. This book is 1 of the results of her life's reflections. Rubbing of the book edges with softening of the back strip edges. Light browning and a few foxing spots to the text block edges and age toning of the pages stop tape residue can be seen to the end pages. Previous owners name to the top edge of the free front end page and original bookseller's sticker to the lower left hand corner of the same page. The dustwrapper is not in great shape please see photograph. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners with pieces missing from the fold over creases of both fold over panels. There is a transverse tear to the front panel measuring 4 inches, which, has been inexpertly repaired with tape and there are other various tape marking from where a previous owner has held down the dustwrapper with tape to the boards of the book / repaired tears.
