London: Mitchell Beazley, 1980. Complete and comprehensive two-volume set in slipcase. Red covers with gilt on spine and upper cover, b/w illustrations with spot colour, cream endpapers. Vol I (Reference - How Body works, medical terms, A-Z guide etc), 502pp. Vol II (Practical - First Aid, care of sick, pregnancy, child care, physical fitness etc), 528pp inc index (but numbering consecutive with Vol I = 1030pp). Both volumes in similar condition with neat gift inscriptions on front endpapers but no wear to covers, they look unread. DJs have lightly sunned spines, otherwise no obvious faults. A VG set indeed in red slipcase which has just light shelfwear. Heavy set may require extra postage. Ref:114851. First Edition. Cloth. Almost as New/VG++. 18x24cm.
