Your Wings, Jordanoff, Assen, Published by Funk & Wagnalls, New York and London, 1940. New Edition. Small Quarto, 9 3/4" tall., ix, 281pp. with illustrations by Frank L. Carlson, Fred L. Meagher and Eric Sloane. Blue cloth boards with black titles front and spine. Volume is in near fine condition, without markings or tears; unclipped jacket is in very good condition with a few chips and small tears. Assen Jordanoff (1896-1967) was a famous Bulgarian-American inventor and aviator, credited with founding aeronautical engineering in Bulgaria and greatly contributing to aviation in the United States. "Jordanoff's contribution was essential to the advancement of U.S. aviation, thanks to his instructional/analytical books in the field of aeronautics and its processes, as well as thanks to the direct application of his engineering and practical skills in the building of aircraft".
