Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1930. 12mo size blue clothbound hardcover with gilt titles on spine and gilt decorations on cover; 611 pages including index plus a few additional pages with travel tips. Red topstain. There are some black and white photographs throughout and a black and white frontispiece illustration on glossy stock. Contents include: Mont-Saint-Michel Loire Carcassonne Paris Nice Monte Carlo Biarritz Pyrenees The author ran a travel company, specializing in travel for women, and was the author of more than 35 books, including the "So You're Going To" series. She died in 1941. Bumped head and heel of spine and bottom corners. There is a small bump to top of back cover and some small white scratches or transfer. Previous owner sticker inside front cover and bookseller's pencilled notations on top of fep. Pages are toned and there is some light soil to outside pages. . 2nd. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
