[The first edition was published under one of Snell's nom de plumes, James Craig.] Hard cover 16 mo, in light blue cloth, the tiles blocked in black. 223 pp. (no illustration). Original, unclipped, pictorial dust jacket by artist Garrett Price, in mylar. Condition: Uniform moderate age-toning of pages, otherwise very clean and unmarked. Dust jacket with some light soiling, and corner wear.**Missouri-born Author Roy J. Snell (1878-1959) travelled extensively, using this as inspiration for many stories and novels written prior to World War II. On The Yukon Trail is the second of eight books in the series. The protagonist is tracing an international jewel thief and smuggler from Valdez, Alaska up the Yukon trail of the gold miners by dog sled, using his wireless radio to keep in touch with base, called the Secret Service of the Air.
