SECOND ISSUE 1901, with cancel title page stating "REISSUE" otherwise format and contents as first issue of 1899. 8vo, 200 x 135 mm, 8 x 5¼ inches, salmon pink cloth, bevelled edges, gilt, dark brown and white illustration to upper cover and spine, gilt lettered upper cover and spine, all edges gilt, black endpapers, pages: xii, 370. Frontispiece and 20 black and white plates, 24 text illustrations, some almost full page. Contains CHATEAU AND SHIP by Henty and stories by Ker, Leighton, Fenn and Collingwood. Tiny pale spot at lower edge of upper cover, covers very bright, neat name on half-title, small chip to margin corner of 1 page, small closed tear neatly repaired to same corner of following page, occasional very light foxing.
