About This Item

Max Parrish, London, 1965. Reprint. Softcover (Stiff Boards). Good Condition. Illustrator: Illustrated. Foreword by Godfrey Winn, appendix and index. Black and white photographic frontispiece, showing the author and the three types of poodle – standard, miniature and toy; with black-and-white line drawings throughout. Plaintext stiff boards covers with green, black and white coloured titles to the front panel and green and black coloured titles to the back strip. The title says it all. A little creasing of the book corners with quite a noticeable cock of the spine. Sunning to the back strip and less apparent to the front panel. The laminate of the book has started to lift along the rear edge of the back strip and there is a small erosion mark also present. Browning of the end pages, with a small stain to the top right hand corner of the free front end page; with, a gift inscription stating "Dear Winny I know you are a 'bright' dog but he is a little book to dip into. Your friend "Muzz'. There is a small drawing of (I think) poodle under the inscription. Size: 12 mo (standard paperback). 99 [1] pages,. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Illustrated. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Animals & Birds; Dogs; 1960s; Inventory No: 0290947. .
