About This Item
FIRST PRINTING of First USA Edition. Fine condition in fine dust jacket. Included with the book is a loose (not attached in any way) b/w photographic portrait of Heckmair tipped onto thin card hand-signed by Anderl Heckmair. This is a real gelatin silver emulsion photograph (not a modern printed copy) produced directly from a film negative image on photographic paper. The book has no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, is clean, tight binding (probably never read), no foxing. The dust jacket is clean without any tears, no chips, no rubbing, complete. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK/PHOTO BEING OFFERED.
