Leather-backed boards, binding professionally repaired, some edgewear and chipping, contents in good condition. Bergamo (Istituto Italiano d'Arti Grafiche) 1914. Ex-Pierpont Morgan library with bookplate on pastedown. The monumental catalogue of the paintings from the Quattrocento and later in the Vatican collections. The photographs of the works in this volume are of excellent quality and reveal details and defects of the paintings prior to modern restorations.
