Signed by author on limitation page. 84pp, 128 photographic plate illustrations some in colour, tipped in. Decorated initial caps. Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine and front, bevelled edges. Signs of handling, spine slightly faded. Spine rubbed especially on heel. Cloth worn on corners. Blue end papers, toned. Evidence of previous label on paste down and stamp. Small reference library stamps on verso of some pages/plates. A handsome, deluxe edition. A large and heavy volume which may require an additional charge for overseas shipping.
