The story of an immigrant Irish Captain on the Great Lakes and his rise to wealth and power during the period 1876 - 1932. The author worked for a time on Lakes vessels in the early 1920's. Original wheat cloth covers with green spine lettering. Small bookshop sticker on lower edge of the front end paper, else a A clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. The dust jacket is complete and unmarked with a little spotting to along the rear panel fold-over and a little edge wear. For those that may be sensitive, there there is a very faint musty odor.
