Blume Engineering with up-to-date information regarding design and analysis of engineering Nuclear Reactors in Earthquake prone regions. This is an oversized paperback - perfectbound with heavy cardstock covers and paper tape. The book is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The book is in generally clean, bright condition. The spine of the book cover has lengthy tearing to both the top and bottom ends and some beginning toning to the edges of the cardstock covers. The text pages are clean and bright. This copy was part of the Ebasco Services Inc. Library. While technically an Ex-library copy, there are no library markings except for the received stamp dated January 26, 1972 on the title page. Ebasco Services Inc. Was a subsidiary of General Electric (Ebasco stood for the Electric Bond Share Company) which supplied Nuclear Power Plant Engineering consulting for a number of years. The company was sold to Raytheon in 1993. "The present book discusses state-of-the-Art techniques and procedures, many of which are currently used by groups designing nucler power plant facilities. The text and figures were carefully proofed, and hopefully all errors removed.... The procedures discussed herein are based on the extensive experience acquired by John A. Blume & Associates, Engineers in design and analysis of structures of all types - both in the United States and abroad - for resistance to earthquake-induced forces." (from Wikipedia) .
