Chicago: The University of Chicago Press Copyright is 1966. 216 pages. Inscribed and signed by the author on the half title page, to Gary K. Clarke (1939-2019; American zoo director; First president of AAZPA; Safari leader; Author). Also laid in is a personal blotter for the author, with a Ripley's Believe it or Not panel. Clarke's book plate is found on the top paste down, and ink stamps are seen on end leaves, edges, and in the lower margin of the last leaf. Book plate is in a an older clear protective sleeve, and has been taped in place. Jacket remains bright and clean, showing only a little light edge wear. . Inscribed and Signed. First Edition. Cloth - Hard Cover. Good+/Very Good.
