Charlottesville, VA: The Michie Company Printers, 1915. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavo. 197 pages, indexed. Hardcover bound in dark blue cloth. The binding, which is bumped and worn, and there is some creasing to the front cover. An ex-library copy with full markings. There is some foxing to the end papers. Rear end paper has a tear across the top and rear flyleaf is creased. Front inner hinge is splitting. THERE IS A HEAVY IRREGULAR JAGGED TEAR IN THE GUTTER OF THE LEAF FOR PAGES 55/56. Thus, a reading or reference copy only. Inscription on the front end paper dated 1919 reads, "Thos. L. Chrisman / Univ. of Virginia." Illustrated with photographs.
