Black-and-white illustrated frontispiece, of Thomas Mann by Paul Citroen. The text is illustrated with black-and-white photography and facsimile's of Thomas Mann's writing/work. Maroon coloured covers, with French flaps, and black writing on the front panel and spine. A little rubbing to the edges of the book. Some browning of the paper edges. Some very light offset tanning to the endpapers. A memoir of Thomas Mann by his son Golo and an extensive bibliography of Thomas Mann's work published both in Germany and elsewhere.
