Burgundy cloth hardcover with gold print. Owner's signature and stamp on front endpapers and rear of title (Eugene d'Aumont-Coté). Library blind stamps on title page. Another former owner's label on a front leaf. Cloth remains very clean and pages bright and neat.
Includes a history of the canal by John H. Goff, and papers relating to the Great Lakes. Appendix: Vessels on the Great Lakes, 1905.
