New York: Farrar & Rinehart, 1945. First edition. Hardcover. Getler Smith. 368pp. Octavo [21 cm] Green cloth with the title gilt stamped on a lavender ink stamped panel on the backstrip. Illustrated endsheets. Good only. Mildly bumped and darkened at the extremities. The spine is a bit slanted, the front hinge is weak, and the text block is cracked at the beginning. The dust jacket is in good condition only as well. The edges have a handful of closed tears and losses. The longest closed tear is 3" long. Age-toned and lightly rubbed. Twenty-sixth volume in 'The Rivers of America series'. Illustrated by Getlar Smith. Fitzgerald M7.
