Hardcover. padded leather Family Bile, thick folio, soft padded brown leather over boards, lettered gilt, floral embossed design to upper board, gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, undated but reference made to Prize award of 1902 and a presentation page 'To Mother' from james Strain and dated Christmas 1914, publisher name not given but binding very much in the style of A J Holman, minor rubbing at head of upper joint, a little age related soiling but generally a very well preserved tightly bound copy, biography, historical, geographical Introductory articles, Dictionary, Concordance, maps, coloured plates, b&w illustrations, Biblical text in parallel columns, a very good copy.
