Boards rubbed, mostly affecting leather, spine ends rather chipped, early and mid-20th-century newspaper clippings mounted to front free flyleaf and frontispiece verso, else contents near fine and fresh. About Very Good overall. Biography of the American abolitionist politician who served as Vice President under Ulysses S. Grant.
