This well-preserved title chronicles in text, photographs and drawings early 20th century Panama and the enormous task of building the Panama Canal. Profusely, illustrated with hundreds of photographs and 16 full color illustrations.
The boards are rubbed and scuffed with slight moisture damage at spine foot. Corners are bumped but hinge is tight and pages are bright and clean. Endpapers have darkened over the years, but no internal markings. Includes a fold-out map of the canal's path, two pages of publisher ads at the rear of text and a loose publishers promotional card summarizing the book.
