Woodfall, jun. 1742. Volume 2 revised and partly written by William Whiston. A SPECIAL HAND COLOURED EDITION. This set was given to William Upcott, a well known librarian and bibliophile, who has written a note in ink on the first free endpaper with his signature stating that the books were given to him by the family of George Baker. This is confirmed in Dibdin's The Library Companion which states: "the copy of copies' is that in the possession of Mr Baker, of St Pauls Churchyard, belonging to his late brother". Many coats of arms throughout, all hand coloured and most heightened with gold and silver gilt.
