Straight, tight and clean with no markings, slightest spine-end and corner wear. Dustjacket as new but for slight edge touches, light crease to rear flap. The complete history of the city of Friendswood, Texas from its inception as a small Quaker community dependent on the cultivation of figs in 1895, and published as a commemorative for the city's centennial in 1995. Profusely illustrated throughout with black-&-white photographs of significant citizens and important events. Appended: Notes, Bibliography, Index-Narrative, Index-Some of the Friendly Folks.
