This volume is devoted to the study of French agriculture, examining soil, crops, the French peasantry, the Paris markets for the various crops and meats, agricultural education, as well as in depth study of the various crops and livestock raised. In GOOD+ condition with minor fading and minor soiling to the wraps, mostly to the rear panel. Minor to moderate foxing present to the rear panel, with a few small, faint stains. Minor scuffing and creasing along the extremities. Interior solid, with many pages unopened. Very minor scattered foxing with moderate foxing to the two steel engravings at the front of the book.

Covers rubbed with some some spotting, sound binding, dampstains to top portions of first few pages, ending just after the table of contents, endpapers a bit grubby with closed tear to front free endpaper and old personal bookplate (David D. Field, Stockbridge, Mass.) on front pastedown, pages otherwise a bit age-toned but clean, no other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
