Page dimensions: 175 x 132mm. Illustrated with etchings by George Cruikshank. The 6 plates have 8 illustrations in total (one of the plates has 3 illustrations). Rear cover with advertisement "Preparing for Publication, No. III. Cinderella and the Glass Slipper". This is the second title in the series "George Cruikshank's Fairy Library". .

Description:
London: George Routledge And Sons, 1865. Hardcover. All housed in very good quarter dark green and marbled board slipcase with raised bands and red leather spine label printed in gilt. All are 18 x 14 cm. 30, 32 and 31 pages respectively. All in original green wrappers with advert rear back cover and Cruikshank's fairy tale story of his nephew on verso of front cover. Respectively there are "Drawn and Etched" plates for each as follows: six, six & ten full page printed recto or verso only. Hop-O'My-Thumb lacks small portion of lower back cover at margin. Interior contents clean and fresh. Backstrip wear and some loss to each with Jack An The Beanstalk lacking two centimeters at backstrip foot. Again respectively, COHN 191, 192, & 193.
