Description:
New York: The Mysterious Press - Warner Books, 1993. ARC . Paperback with Foldout Cover. Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. This is the limited-printing Advance Reader's Copy state (ARC) - not quite the same as, but often referred to as an Uncorrected Proof - fast becoming an attractive "collectible", as it precedes the First Edition. Ex-private eye C.W. Sughrue has been depressed, jobless and living in the basement of a morgue, but now a job has come up. He sets off on an odyssey of liquor, sex and gunplay to find a missing woman who has eluded the FBI and cocaine dealers. 247 pages. CONDITION: a bright, tight, square, unmarked, uncreased, likely unread copy with minimal shelf-wear (a small indentation line on the back cover). This handsome, collectible copy is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag.
