Estes and Lauriat, 1896. Hardcover. Very Good. Originally issued in 1845/46 by Dumas 'pere'. LIMITED EDITION # 660 of 1,000 copies issued. A Dumas romance, set in Paris during the 'Reign of Terror'. Green cloth with gilt top edge (rubbed). There are eight (8) engravings. Paper spine title is age toned and chipped. Crown and foot of spine cloth is frayed. Inside cover has approx. 1" of a probable book plate remains. Does not detract. Half title page has a 2" closed tear (see photo) at gutter. A tad of webbing showing at rear hinge (paper barely pulled away), but a tight text block with unmarked/clean interior. 462 pages.

Edition De Luxe. Numbered Edition: #733 out of 1,000. Boston: Estes and Lauriat (1896). Illustrated (8 plates). Hardcover (Burgundy Cloth, Bookplate with title on the spine, Gilt Upper edge, no dj). Upper edge of Front board got !/2" strip of light discoloration. Otherwise The Book is perfect and never read (All Uncut Pages). 9.1"x6.1"x1.4". be4x.
