Good. - sc A large 14-1/2 inch high by 33 inch long folding panorama consisting of 8 panels, each of which is illustrated with a color illustration of a farm animal by Ellen Senger. The images include a horse and its colt, turkeys stalked by a fox, a sheep with its lamb, a collie watching its pups drink from a bowl, a chicken with its chicks, 2 rabbits, a calf, and a pig with its offspring. The panorama folds down to 7-1/2" by 8-1/4". There are some minor creases. Good.

Binding in dark red with black text stamping, light wear, overall bright and clean. Sound binding, front inner hinge paper separating but is superficial as the cover is firmly attached, Front fly leaf upper corner crushed, and a few inner pages accidently rubbed at top edges, limited. Unmarked. Age toned paper. Lovely color dust jacket illustrated by E. B. Segner, of young woman being helped out of a prop plane by a man. Shows tiny tears, very clean, spine a bit sunned, rear cover surprising clean (printed white paper), now protected in a clear archival cover.

Scott, Foresman and Company, 1948. Hardcover. Very Good. Charlotte Becker and Ellen Segner. Wonderful Illustrations! Highly Collectible Book in Very Good condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp pages. Book does not appears to have had much use. There is a name written inside the front cover, which is probably a Teacher with a small square drawing and also pen marks along the inside spine. No other writing or marks in the book! The Reader portion of 128 pages is a First Printing (number line) with the Teacher's Guidebook being 32 pages. This is part of the Dick and Jane series from Scott Foresman. (Dick and Jane do not actually appear in this title, but many of their friends do!) This title is part of the Social Studies series. Outside cloth covers are nice with minor wear to the outside corners and edges. Nice book with great illustrations!
