Leather shows scuffing and wear to edges and corners. Decorated end pages and front and rear. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings present. Pages are mildly toned due to age and the second end page has a spot in the upper outside corner where it looks like a spot of glue, presumably from the binding process, stuck the two pages together and later separated leaving a mark. Unpaginated as each chapter has its own numbering system. Copyright page lists copyright owners as Colliery Engineer Company. This is volume 4 only of a series issued over several years.

Bindings loose but sound. Additional shipping may be required for this two volume set. A correspondence course written as preparation for working in the coal mining industry in the early 1900s.
