Pages are moderately tanned and occasionally foxed throughout. Heavier tanning to text block edges. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Peeling and loss to leather elements. Gilt lettering has become dull.
