Page edge gilding is clean and bright with some minor marks and scratches. Spine and binding are slightly shaken but intact, may have been repaired. Endpapers are a white textured satin paper with smudges and minor soiling. Many pages have some soiling and finger smudges at the edges, text and images are still clear. Tip-in illustrations are clean and bright. There are several differences between the color illustration list and the tip-ins that are present.
