Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled.

Decoratived blue cloth boards, lightly rubbed at the edges, with traces of flecking by the upper edger of the front board and minor wear at the lower front corner. The book is in three parts: The Land, The Invaders, and The Spirit of Syria. For the purposes of this reissue, the author revised the work and slightly abridged it, but no attempt was made to describe the changed conditions consequent on the War.. Revised Second Edition.
