Black and white photographs and illustrations. Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding remains firm. Minor pencil inscriptions to front pastedown. Boards have heavy wear with bumped and abraded corners. Spine ends similarly worn and spine itself strongly scuffed and split along front edge. Gilt dulled. Board surfaces tanned.

This volume contains six monthly issues of this famous literary magazine. The book is handsomely bound in 3/4 wine-red polished calf, over 'pebbled' buckram, with gilt rules to the spines. The boards are rubbed at the edges, and the spine title is quite rubbed. The rear hinge is broken but the binding is holding nicely. No previous owner's markings and the contents are exceptionally clean.
