This is an old hardcover, published in 1925 by Harper & Brothers for Parents' Institute, Inc. The boards show light edge and corner wear, but not overly bad. Small worn spot on the upper spine. Minor bump on the lower right corner. The edges are lightly tanned, but the interior pages are clean and unmarked. Overall in very good reading condition.Good

Hardcover, red cloth boards show some spotting and soiling, spine is sunned. Edges and corners show bumps/wear. The internal binding is a few issues: the hinge is good at the front board but is starting to crack at the rear. The text pages are good for the most part except for at page 80 where there is a a bit of pulling present. Pages are toned due to age with some light scattered foxing and spotting present. There are no signatures or bookplates, no library markings present. There is a bit of handwriting on the front pastedown, which is done in penci, l and reads: "Deep as the sea, Shallow as the brook, Death to the guy that steals this book". This could probably be erased if you so desired. There are some foxing spots present to the end pages and pastedowns as well..
