Jacket is sunned and marked throughout, and edges are creased and nicked, including a small tear to the front at the lower edge. Board corners and spine ends are bumped, and page block is tanned and blemished. Pages are clear and unmarked throughout. LW. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Used.

The lively doings of "Black Rod" a.k.a.Roderick Dhu the Scottie Dog created by author and illustrator C B Poultney which first appeared in the Daily Sketch newspaper. VG/VG (Book- Light general shelf wear to boards, offset browning to end papers with ink previous owner name to front, book block slightly cocked with hint of dust/ foxing spots to top edge. Dust Jacket - light shelf soiling, loss around head and tail of spine of up to 10 mm approx in depth with 2 cm tear to tail/rear fold.
