Blue full cloth boards, gilt cover and spine titles, moderate shelf wear, some spine sunning. Pages very good, clean; few w/intelligent underscore, brief marginalia. Vintage signature inked at front endpaper in fountain pen: "Stanley and Marilynn Kerr, 1/12/53." Bind good; hinges intact. This particular volume features the English translation which has been completely revised by Henry B. Monges. The original translation was by George Metaxes. Rare fairly good early original of this most pivotal work in the library of Rudolf Steiner. The author was a playwright, artist, educational philosopher, reformer, and the founder of Waldorf schools located around the world.
