Uniformly bound in half calf and marbled paper over boards, with title and author on red and black morocco labels on the spine. End papers marbled; all edges marbled. Light shelf wear and light soiling. Rare instances of foxing. An attractive set.

John Wanamaker. Hardcover. Very Good - Cash/No Jacket. Volumes have beautiful purple leather spines and corners. Some scrapes and rubbing to the corners and backstrips. Minor wear to books. Some shelf wear and rubbing to edges and corners. Bumping to some corners. Rubbing to corners and edges have caused a few boards to be exposed. Spines are faded. Text are clean, bindings are tight. On edge of text block (opposite of spine) some of the books (5) have been badly cut (when printed) so there are some jaggety pages sticking out, and some pages are ripped inside. Excellent set! Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.
