Very colourful period book a trifle grubby with the opening text 'One day when Michael had finished practising the piano and Peter had learnt his spelling they both decided to take Mummy for a trip in an aeroplane...'.. 1st edition. hard back. They were rescued by pirates who ordered them to walk the plank but Michael's piano playing saved them. Oblong format 8.75 x 6", white pictorial boards. Colour illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners, some loss of surface paper from base of spine, small split to top. Covers grubby. Front endpaper is MISSING. Rear endpaper is creased. A few marks to contents but most pages are clean.
